That's capitalism for you. The strategy is and always has been divide and conquer. That's why so many children today don't know how to act; because their parents are too busy in their profession or they could be an addict of sorts. People need love and compassion on a regular basis just as they need a fulfilling diet. If these things go unfulfilled it creates a person without hope and dreams; somebody who is scared to stand up and speak loudly against the greed. That is what "they" want. When I say "they" I'm referring to the sociopaths of the world. These people are mainly politicians, cops, corporate executives, people in advertising, tobacco companies, sugar industrialists; those who do everything for vanity. That's capitalism. And your're right; it's a non-indian aspect to American life.
