I really didnt read any new "attacks" in this article. From what I see their should be a new middle class of highly educated natives that used their tribal scholarship programs to go to college and graduate school. From what I see they are being held back from even making it to the middle class by their own families. The student that graduated with a masters in social work that should be middle class but because he/she has to take care of her sister's kids and her mother, she is constantly struggling to make ends meet. Then you add the aunts and uncles that need to borrow money. He/she has no savings, doesnt own a home and has a hard time keeping a job because he/she has to take off time to deal with family emergencies.
