Ah yes the old one drop rule as applied to those of us with Amerindian and African ancestry. The rule that says I inspite of my copper skin, and name, and the culture of my family should identify more with say the Yoruba or Igbo... than the Potawatomi, Pamunkey or Mattaponi. How numerous would Virginia's Indians be today if that old attitude went away? How large a reserve would Tesenacomacha need to be to house their numbers?
