Today is Veterans Day (observed). ICTMN correspondent Valarie Tom (click here to read her thoughtful Veterans Day Message) has contributed these amazing photographs of the Navajo Code Talkers Memorial in Phoenix. This is a day to especially honor our Veterans, and as always to never forget those who have fallen and walked on. We hope you enjoy this gallery. And we welcome your comments about what this means to you. It is of course Native American Heritage Month and fitting that Veterans Day falls within the month, given the historically high rates of enlistment by Native Americans. If you have poems, stories or photographs to share for possible publication, please e-mail us at editor@ictmn.com. Happy Veterans Day.
