Pictures really are worth a thousand words. It's an honor to post these photos, provided to us by our correspondent Vincent Schilling.
Over the last few years and as a correspondent for Indian Country Today Media Network, Vincent Schilling (a non-combat U.S. Army Veteran 2nd Lieutenant.) has captured many photographs while covering stories that have honored Indigenous service members.
This Memorial Day, we ask you to take a moment to remember and honor those that have served our country and to those that have left for foreign lands, and to those that did not return.
