The Iroquois Nationals are 3-1 in the U19 World Lacrosse Championships in Turku, Finland, and are one victory away from playing in the gold medal game. Their likely opponent? Team USA (they play the winner of the USA/Germany game, the Americans are favored), the squad the Nationals vanquished in a electrifying game on Tuesday, 15-13.
We've discussed their big win here, and had our videographer, Gwendolyn Cates, put together this fantastic video of the team and coaches discussing what it means to bring the Creator's game to the world, which you can watch here.
We thought we'd share some of the photos our West Coast editor, Valerie Taliman, has been sending us back from Finland. The Nationals are making everyone in Indian country proud.
