| September 17, 2010

An American Indian tribe has agreed with state and local officials to settle a lawsuit over the enforcement of some laws in parts of Mid-Michigan's Isabella County. A filing Thursday in federal court in Bay City said the deal is tentative with more time needed to finish the settlement, probably by next month. The county was the last party to sign on. No details have been disclosed.
