With numerous threats to the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde’s membership looming on the horizon, experienced and familiar faces in the form of two current and one former tribal councilor were elected Saturday to three-year terms. Chris Mercier led the field of 14 with 541 votes or 17.5 percent in winning election to his third consecutive term.
