YPT awarded Basic Library with Education/Assessment Option Grant

The Yerington Paiute Tribal Library has been awarded a $7,000 Basic Library Grant with Education/Assessment Option grant as part of an Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) program awarding Basic Library Grants with Education Assessment Option grants representing 187 tribes and a total of $1,309,000. Overall, the IMLS program offers three categories of grants to establish libraries serving the needs of Indian Tribal Communities and Alaska Native Villages: Basic Library Grants, Basic Library Grants with Education/Assessment options grants (non-competitive), and Library Enhancement Grants (competitive).
