Time is running out for the Lumbee recognition bill in Congress, but tribal leaders and the lawmakers who introduced the legislation say there's still hope. Sen. Kay Hagan told reporters in a conference call Wednesday she hopes the bill can be added to another piece of legislation and passed before Congress adjourns this month.
