Preparatory and Pre-Graduate scholarships cover tuition and required fees. Health Professions scholarships cover tuition, required fees and approved educational and living expenses.

Criteria
Preparatory Scholarship — Qualified American Indian and Alaska Native students pursuing courses (preparatory or undergraduate prerequisite courses) in preparation for entry to health professional schools, such as nursing, pharmacy and others, based on Indian health program needs. Descendents and members of both federally and state-recognized Tribes are eligible. Pre-Graduate Scholarship — Qualified American Indian and Alaska Native students pursuing a bachelor’s of science degree (BS) in specific pre-professional areas, such as pre-medicine, pre-dentistry and pre-podiatry and others, based on Indian health program needs. Descendents and members of both federally and state-recognized Tribes are eligible. Health Professions Scholarship — Qualified American Indian and Alaska Native students pursuing health profession degree programs, such as medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and others, based on Indian health program needs. Only members of federally recognized Tribes are eligible.
