40th Annual Weber State Competition Pow Wow, Utah

When & Where: March 10th in the Shepherd Union Ballroom in Ogden, Utah.

Saturday’s festivities will kick off at 11AM with Master of Ceremonies Harold Begay at the helm. Your grand entries will be at 12PM and 6PM. According to their website the 40th Annual Weber State Competition Pow Wow is “committed to providing a culturally centered event for the edification of American Indian people and to creating an environment where all people can come and be educated, uplifted, and strengthened by our Native ways.” For more information about this event, click here.

42nd Annual California State University, Long Beach POW WOW, California

When & Where: March 10th - 11th at the SCU Long beach Upper Campus Quad in Long Beach California.

This two-day weekend event will begin each day at 11AM. The CSULB Pow Wow will feature traditional Native American dances, arts and crafts, and foods. Spectators will enjoy eating the authentic Native American foods like mutton, beef stew, Navajo tacos, frybread, and more while watching various dance competitions throughout the weekend. 30th Annual Wa:k Pow Wow, Arizona

When & Where: March 10th – 11th at the San Xavier Del Bac Mission in Tucson, Arizona.

The 30th Annual Wa:k Pow Wow invites all to “head to the San Xavier Mission South of Tucson for an exciting display of American Indian inter-tribal dancing along with a great selection of traditional food and crafts.” Visitors looking for authentic Native American crafts will find silver jewelry, beaded earrings, and more. Gates will open at 10:30AM on Saturday and 10AM on Sunday. Competitions will include a drum contest, team dancing, hoop dance, and two-step. For more information about this event, click here.

21st Annual Winter Pow Wow, Wisconsin

When & Where: March 10th – 11th at the Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis, Wisconsin.

This weekend event will be filled with traditional Native American foods, entertainment, and an extensive marketplace for shopping. Master of Ceremonies Mark Denning will preside over the social dances and tiny tots special. For more information about this event, click here.
