These summer days are coming to an end. But Pow Wow season is in full swing! Fill your weekend calendar with powwow fun!

We've put together a great list of powwows happening all across the nation this weekend just for you!

If one of these exciting events is located near you, we recommend heading over to enjoy some lively dancing and drumming, thrilling musical performances, and delicious, authentic foods!

43rd Annual United Tribes International Powwow, North Dakota

When & Where: September 6th-9th at the United Tribes Technical College in the Lone Star Arena in Bismarck, North Dakota.

According to their website, this powwow “has become one of the premier cultural events of North Dakota, receiving numerous awards over the years. Representing over 70 tribes, featuring over 1500 dancers and drummers, and drawing over 20,000 spectators the Powwow has become a must-see event!” For more information about this event, click here.

Annual Intertribal Pow-Wow, Massachusetts

When & Where: September 8th – 9th at Plug Pond in Haverhill, Massachusetts.

Festivities begin at 11AM and end at 6PM each day. There will be a special performance by Hoop Dancer Celina Cada-Matasawagon, known for her performance in the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Opening Ceremony. Admission is $5. For more information about this event, click here.

35th Naticoke Powwow, Delaware

When & Where: September 8th – 9th at the Nanticoke Powwow Grounds in Millsboro, Delaware.

Kicking off at 10AM Saturday, this annual powwow is chockfull of festivities. Powwow goers will enjoy demonstrations including storytelling, flute playing, dancing, and more! Grand entry is at 12PM on Saturday and 1PM on Sunday. For more information about this event, click here.

5th Annual Sacred Spirits Drum Intertribal Pow-Wow, Maine

When & Where: September 8th – 9th in Naples, Maine.

Gates will open at 10AM and close at 5PM each day. There will be special performances by The Storytellers, Timbered Lake, and more. Admission is free but the hosts recommend a $5 donation for each adult attending the weekend festivities. For more information about this event, click here.
