Lapwai Lady Cats Honor Sandy Hook Victims

Support has been pouring in for the victims of the December 14 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.

This Facebook image posted by Brooklyn Baptiste was uploaded with the caption: “Our young Lapwai Lady Cats honoring the Sandy Hook children, teachers & community before their game. The Lightning Creek Singers sang an honor song as they walked around the gymnasium. BEAUTIFUL.”

Lapwai, Idaho is home to the Nez Perce Indian Reservation.

The tragedy has even inspired a “26 Acts of Kindness” campaign spearheaded by television personality Ann Curry. Twitter users document their good deeds using the hashtag #26actsofkindness to share their actions and bolster positive spirits.

What good deed will you do today in memory of those who have walked on too soon?
