It’s the last day of official summer, and to brighten up your barbeque and put you in a laughing mood for the back-to-school and post-vacation whirl, check out these baby ostriches as they put a whole new spin on the notion of spinning.

We’re used to thinking of ostriches as keeping their heads in the sand, shows an entire other side of the animals. The world’s largest bird, the ostrich is usually found in the African savannah. However in this video they are yukking it up in Japan.

What these majestic birds lack in flying power they make up for in land speed, according to National Geographic.

“They can sprint up to 43 miles (70 kilometers) an hour and run over distance at 31 miles (50 kilometers) an hour,” the magazine says.
