50 US Senators Tell NFL ‘Now Is the Time’ to Act on ‘Redskins’


The Nation has led the Change the Mascot campaign and received support from numerous political leaders and others including, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Representatives Tom Cole, Betty McCollum, and Eleanor Holmes Norton.

“I have 22 tribal organizations in Nevada,” Reid told the Times. “They are not mascots. They are human beings. And this term Redskins is offensive to them.”

Now is the time to pour it on. The radio sports talk shows are discussing the issue respectfully. Give them a call and tell them how you feel about racist mascots.

It IS the time to "pour it on" As Stanley said. Hit YouTube and make the comments. The more people that know we DON'T like the team's name the better off we'll all be. We need to get to the point that they can no longer say, "Well these Indians don't care about it . . . "
