All-Girl Road Trip! Behind the Scenes of ATCR's 'Sisters' Video


Not too long ago we brought you the video for "Sisters" by A Tribe Called Red, with the admittedly bombastic claim that the clip would take the DJ trio "to the next level." Well, the video did get nominated for a MuchMusic Video award (it didn't win) and the Video of the Year Aboriginal People's Choice Music Award (we'll find out September 12). But back to "Sisters" -- Canadian Native culture maven Lisa Charleyboy has posted a great piece to UrbanNativeMagazine about the making of the video, which stars Kawennahere Devery Jacobs, Sarain Fox, and Aria Evans as road-tripping sisters.

"These ladies are not only beautiful, they are all talented dancers, playful and full of positive energy," Charleyboy writes. "Just what the doctor ordered.
