Dakota 38 Memorial Ride Underway

The 330-mile memorial ride began at the Lower Brule Reservation on December 10. The riders will travel through ice and snow right through Christmas to reach Mankato, Minnesota by December 26. It was there where 38 Dakota men were hung after the U.S.-Dakota War of 1862.
