Video: Hoopa Home Chef Mixes Up a Kale Smoothie


In this installment of Cooking Healthy in Indian Country, Meagen Baldy shows viewers how to mix up a healthy kale smoothie using honey strawberry Greek yogurt, strawberries, kale, and activated chia seeds.

The smoothie recipe calls for one cup of kale, a couple of strawberries, two scoops of yogurt and the chia seeds, about two tablespoons.

“The chia seeds are good in dietary fiber, they also carry omega 3 and protein,” Baldy says in the video.

She says her smoothie is nice and sweet and the perfect thickness.
