ICTMN's Weekend Pow Wow Guide

ICTMN Staff
5/1/15

The first day of May marks new beginnings. It’s also the perfect time to gather together and celebrate Native culture at a pow wow near you!

To kick things off this month, you can become a champion of hope by attending the American Indian Cancer Foundation Pow Wow for Hope on Saturday. The Keepers of the Peace Powwow at West Point brings Native and Non-Native cadets together to celebrate 5 years of educating the military community about Native history and tradition. And finally, next week, the 2015 Mother’s Day Gathering and Powwow in Salmon, Alabama, kicks off on May 5, and celebrates mothers for the rest of the week.

Check out 10 pow wows happening this weekend (and today!).
