Iroquois Nationals Hold Open Tryouts this Weekend in Buffalo

Iroquois Nationals head coach Ansley Jemison says the Iroquois Nationals Lacrosse Program is holding open tryouts this weekend in Buffalo, New York.

“We would like to announce the Open Tryouts dates for the U19 Iroquois Nationals for November 14 & 15th at the Nichols School in Buffalo, New York. Player registration will begin at 10am sharp.”

Jemison has asked interested players to bring their own equipment along with cleats, as the tryouts will be on a Field Turf surface. All high school and college players born between Sept. 1, 1996, and July 6, 2000, are eligible and encouraged to attend.

According to team registration requirements players will need to bring with them the following:

·         Birth Certificate

·         Haudenosaunee Passport (if you are eligible for a Haudenosaunee Passport you will need to apply for one)

·         Letter of Recognition from your Traditional Government

·         If you are from another nation other than Haudenosaunee we will need a letter of recognition from your nation.

·         Registration Application Form this will be available in PDF Format on the www.iroquoisnationals.org website. Print and Bring with you.

·         Tryout fee $75.00
