Oh my god, the future of native americans hangs in the balance of a pipeline. Native americans sure aren't better, there were wells, rigs, pipes, diesels engines and huge oil containers galore on the osage reservation. All sorts of accidents and spills without people giving two craps what happens. When a tribe makes money or get royalties from it, they don't give two craps what happens to people on the bottom or native americans of other tribes. I'm sure people's cisterns were heavily polluted.

There's a huge difference when it's crossing beneath the fourth largest river system on the planet, from which ten million people get their drinking water. I'm directly downstream of the Sacred Stone site and half the drinking water we get comes from the Missouri River. I have no interest whatsoever in finding out what water tainted with oil tastes like.
