Navajo fashion designer Orlando Dugi wowed the crowd in New York City September 10 with his hand-beaded, ethereal designs.

ICTMN was there to see them walk the runway first-hand, and was impressed at the intricateness of the designs.

He’s gotten some high praise around social media since the show. A commenter on Facebook said she had seen his “beautiful work” in Santa Fe at the Indian Market and that she’s “so happy you’re representing in NYC!!! That’s awesome.”

An Instagrammer commented on a video of Dugi taking his walk down the runway after the show saying “Can’t imagine how it must feel after showing a collection as fabulous as yours and being on the runway waving to the audience.”
