Chelsey Luger by Thosh Collins: Thing About Skins Photo of the Week
ABOUT THE SUBJECT: Chelsey Luger (Turtle Mountain Chippewa and Standing Rock Sioux, daughter of Donna Brown and Jody Luger) is passionate about promoting health and fitness in Native American communities. Chelsey graduated from Dartmouth College and has her master's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Columbia University, and she is now working as a video journalist for "Now This News". Chelsey incorporates her culture and heritage into everything she does professionally, academically, and with fitness. Chelsey says that most of her strength, physically and mentally, comes from her culture, and believes that all Native youth have the ability to tap into this mentality to lead healthier, more balanced, and happier lives.
