In this installment of Cooking Healthy in Indian Country, Hoopa Home Chef Meagen Baldy teaches viewers how to make a holiday stuffing.

While this is her Thanksgiving special, stuffing is good for any holiday get together. And if you’re anything like me, I could have stuffing once a week and wouldn’t be sick of it.

She starts by toasting the bread and showing us the vegetables she will be loading into the stuffing, including onions, celery, a mushroom indigenous to Hoopa, a winter squash, and of course: kale.

She recommends a turkey sausage to add “depth of flavor” if anyone wanted to add a meat to the stuffing.
