ICTMN's Vincent Schilling Books a Spot on APTN's 'InFocus'


This Wednesday Jan. 7th at 6:30 pm ET and 12:00 am, the Aboriginal People’s Television Network (APTN) will be showcasing its regular news television program “InFocus,” a program that highlights the rich and vibrant Canadian First Nations community. This week’s program will highlight influential indigenous artists Don Amero, Courtney Lynn and media executives Jesse Green (Strongfront TV) and Schilling Media Inc. owner/Executive Vice President and Akwesasne Mohawk Producer, Author, Radio Host and Public Speaker Vincent Schilling.

“I am sincerely looking forward to talking about ways Indigenous artists and making waves and breaking new ground in the music and media industries in 2015," says Schilling. "It is a difficult industry, but with the right direction, game plan and motivation native artists and entrepreneurs can thrive in this growing technological age.”

Schilling regularly covers entertainment for ICTMN, often handling stories about Native actors, filmmakers and musicians bridging the gap between Native-focused and mainstream entertainment. His notable pieces from 2014 included:
